Project Engineer: 

This is a 3-month contract position at the moment

Role: 

The Project Engineer is accountable to deliver all the performance requirements of the contract and has the responsibility and authority to determine all matters affecting the implementation and operation of the contract.

The Project Engineer provides leadership and direction and coordinates and manages the project team to achieve or exceed desired outcomes for the client, including contractual commitments and profitability. The Project Engineer ensures adequate resources are applied as needed to achieve the outcomes required.

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing relationships with the project customers and their agents and any joint venture partners – ensuring immediate resolution of any concerns and total customer satisfaction with all aspects of the project.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer provides engineering services and project management support for engineering and fabrication projects.

The Project Engineer provides advice and support to staff involved on the project (or contract) and coaching and mentoring to other less experienced engineering staff

• Manages the relationships with the project customer and their agents. Coordinates communication and is the primary contact for any queries.

• Has contact with client representatives, supplier representatives and sub-contractors

• Works cooperatively with other Managers and other project team members
