SUMMARY FUNCTION
Designs, develops and communicates software architecture models with a primary focus on J2EE platforms, Service Oriented Architecture and integration technologies.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION
Translates business and technical requirements into dynamic, proven J2EE based platforms and solutions. Contributes to high-level architecture design in-line with current and future business demand. Drives the creation of new product design requirements and technical specifications. Participates in the construction and coding of key modules, infrastructure and proofs of concept. Acts as a technical advisor in support of key development and professional services engagements. Communicates architectural concepts via mentoring, technical presentations and white papers. Drives tool selection and technologies for development. Contributes to application migration to new platforms, databases and technologies. Leads performance testing and enhancements for the product. Evaluates vendor and partner technologies. Drives tool selection and technologies for development.
EDUCATION REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Five years in object oriented programming and analysis. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis or completed years of college on a one to one basis.
Designs, implements and provides technical support of an application that enables quantitative imaging studies for clinical research. Performs web-based UI design and implementation and be proficient in AngularJS, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS. Hands-on experience in an Agile, Java, Spring framework, Hibernate, RESTful API and Oracle environment.
